This is a photo (and detail) of the Great Masterpiece artwork as of fall 2020. It’s located at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina.
Being the home of the Great Masterpiece wasn’t the small university’s first Florida connection. It was founded in 1927 as Bob Jones College in Panama City and operated there until 1933 when, in the midst of the Great Depression, it moved to Cleveland, Tennessee. It would eventually move to Greenville, SC in 1947.

A big thanks goes to Vicki Olachea, staff writer for The Collegian, for her help in providing the photo. She says that the Great Masterpiece continues to draw interest nearly 100 years after it was first created. As she wrote: “(T)he theatre department puts on a production called Living Gallery, where students and faculty recreate classic religious art using actors and props painted to resemble the artwork. The Last Supper has traditionally been a part of this production for several years, and visitors who attend the production are encouraged to take a tour of the on-campus art before the production, including the Last Supper mural.”
