This is a ten-image book of postcards showing scenes around Miami and Miami Beach. It’s undated but likely comes from the late 1950s.
It shows a lot of the hotels and other development in Miami Beach with photos of the Fontainebleau, Deauville and American Hotels as well as images of the flamingos at Hialeah Racecourse and the main building at Miami International Airport.
The Fontainebleau Hotel was constructed in 1954 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The Hotel Deauville was an earlier hotel but was rebuilt in 1957 and it’s that building that is shown on the postcard.
