This tri-fold brochure with a fold-out is dated 1979. It’s from Circus World which was located off of Interstate 4 close to Haines City in Polk County.
Circus World arguably holds an important place in Florida tourism history – it was the 2nd successful fully-fledged theme park in Florida. Like Disney World’s Magic Kingdom it had rides for small kids up to adults and was based on a theme. At the time, SeaWorld didn’t have thrill rides. Neither did Busch Gardens.
