Busch Gardens 1976

Dated 1976, this bi-fold Busch Gardens brochure shows the time when the park called itself the Dark Continent and used likenesses of characters from a couple of classic Hollywood movies – The African Queen and Casablanca.

In 1976 Busch Gardens was moving towards being a major theme park by adding several significant rides to the already growing zoological park. Rides like Python and Mamba were designed specifically for fun unlike the Monorail and Sky Ride which were for viewing the animals.
